Black dragonfly overlaid onto a blue paint brush stroke.
Minimalist art. This photo was taken at Dog Lake, near Vogar, Manitoba. The ripple was caused by a large carp coming to the surface near the shore. The photo was altered to emphasize the ripple rings, while the glare of the water has taken on an almost antique white patina. The texture on the surface is from the tops of reeds and grasses. Dog Lake, and the nearby south shore of Lake Manitoba is a lovely prairie wetland region, filled with ducks, swans, cormorants, pelicans and heron. I travel there at least once a year.
Minimalist art. Taken along Hwy 68 at Dog Lake, near Vogar, Manitoba. The highway runs through the lake. Here, a sunset illuminated portions of the road and distant tree line. The photo has been altered, emphasizing greys and browns. This will make a stunning art piece, either a framed giclee print, or canvas wrap.
Dragonfly superimposed on a textured kraft paper background.
A unique piece of art with a dragonfly silhouette superimposed onto parchment paper scroll.
